What every status means + when to ping support.
Every audit moves through a deterministic state machine. Here's what each status means.
States
| Status | What's happening | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| queued | Your audit is in the FIFO queue | <60s |
| fetching | We're cloning your repo / unpacking your zip | 10-60s |
| ai_running | Claude is reading your code | 5-15 min |
| human_review | (Deep Dive only) senior auditor is reviewing | 5-10 business days |
| rendering | Generating PDF, OG image, certificate SVG | <2 min |
| delivered | Done! Email sent, report URL live | — |
| failed | Something went wrong (we'll auto-retry once) | — |
Where to track
- Account → Audits — list view of all your audits with live status pills
- Email — automated notifications at queued, delivered, and (for Deep Dive) human_review-started
- Slack — if you've wired the integration, every state transition pings your channel
What to do at each state
- queued > 10 min — unusual. Hit "Ask Qelli" or email support.
- ai_running > 30 min — large monorepo. Don't worry, this happens.
- human_review > 10 business days — your reviewer will email an ETA update.
- failed — we'll auto-retry once. If it fails again, support@qortrace.com is on it (we get the alert before you do).
Cancelling an audit
Standard audits cannot be cancelled (they finish in minutes). Deep Dive audits can be cancelled before the human-review phase begins (within 24h of submission) — you'll get a 100% credit refund. Email support@qortrace.com.
Re-running on a fix
If you fix something the auditor flagged, you can request a re-audit. Deep Dive customers get the first re-audit free within 30 days; subsequent re-audits are charged at 30% of the original fee. Trigger it from the audit detail page.
